Joseph's story is the longest narrative in Genesis. It is the story of a dysfunctional family redeemed. God is present with Joseph throughout his difficult journey. He doesn't have an easy life - no would choose this.
But God is with him. God has sent him. God's purposes are realized even though Joseph suffers. How does Joseph come to the place of offering forgiveness and blessing to those who have deeply wounded him?

A Plan Unhindered

The stories in Genesis 12-50 are not stories of a chosen family of God that shine with heroic glitter and perfection. These families are messed up. But God's purposes prevail.
