RelationshipsBroken (Genesis 3)

We only get four chapters in the Bible where everything is awesome. The first two and the last two. Everything in between is about the mess humanity has made of all our relationships, and God's unwavering commitment to pursue us with redemption and reconciliation.
Genesis 3 is usually titled "The Fall", but in reality it's just the beginning of the fallenness of humanity. It starts here, but as the story continues we will see more and more brokenness and dysfunction from those created to bear the image and likeness of God. The reality we live with everyday is introduced here. And the reality of God's relentless gracious pursuit of His people is emphasized.

About 33% of the Psalms are songs of lament. Songs and prayers that are birthed in and give voice to pain.
How do we pray when life is hard, when our experience is grinding us down? The Psalms give our pain words, and then lead us to hope.
